TWG

The Technical Working Group (TWG) consists of representatives from the PODi Executive and General member companies. The TWG is tasked with developing the PPML specification to address both market needs, and to ensure maximum interoperability between PPML Producers & Consumers.

General decision-making process

Each member company on the TWG has one vote on issues that were not resolved by consensus. The TWG strives at reaching any decision by consensus, and all deliverables of the TWG must be formally approved by the TWG members. If consensus cannot be achieved, PODi staff will request members to vote on the issue. Member companies are given at least two weeks in which to cast their vote. Each general member has exactly one vote. A two-thirds majority is needed to approve a decision.

* Please note that some information is available only to members of the Technical Working Group. Primarily this consists of draft specifications, which are covered by a PODi intellectual property agreement during the development process.

WebBoard

The working Group maintains its own website and discussion boards – which are used by members to post PPML proposals under development and to track work in-progress. These tools also allow us to share information beyond the TWG, with the broader PODi General member companies who are interested in participating in the PPML standards process.
